CLASSROOM VISITS
Our veterinarian visits school classes to impart the basics of safe, humane, and responsible pet ownership. She talks about how to interpret dogs' and cats' body language, how to avoid getting bit, the importance of vaccines, spay and neutering, proper ID and restraint, and what to do if they witness acts of cruelty directed at pets. Butter, our lovely little therapy do goes along, to give the kids a chance to practice their safe approach to strange dogs.
