Maxie
Meet Maxie, our dapper little lounge lizard. He would be contented to drape himself across your lap all day. But don't let that fool you into to thinking he is lacking in pep. He is a real leaping lizard when greeting his friends, whether they have been gone at work all day or just out of the room for five minutes.
Maxie has already been through a lot in his little life. Transferred between multiple owners, he was finally relinquished to animal control after being hit by a car. His broken front leg has now healed and he would like nothing more than to find his forever home. He is a little shy with new people but bonds hard and fast to anyone who shows him kindness. A chihuahua mix, Maxie is a lean and leggy 9 pounder. He cohabits peaceably with his 3 foster dog siblings . Because he is such a mild guy, we think he would do better in a house without small children. He has excellent leash manners and enjoys his walks immensely but doesn't require walks of long length or duration. Maxie is neutered, updated on vaccines, microchipped, and heart worm negative.
